Like another reviewer mentioned, beagles are not really shaped for diapers. We have tried many diapers that just slid off her, or that she could wriggle out of. We've finally found a diaper that stays put, along with the help of a harness and suspenders (the suspenders are from Dog Quality, but we had to get the harness elsewhere). I'm so glad this setup is working for our 16-year-old fur baby who is now almost completely incontinent. We're using the cloth inserts inside the diaper for extra protection, and we'll see how that goes (no leaks so far). I'm prepared to use the women's incontinence pads inside instead if she needs them. It's such a relief to have found a diaper system that is working for her.Update: The diaper is still great, but my dog is a heavy wetter. I just wanted to share what has been working so far. She was leaking a little through the leg hole with two cloth inserts, so I then tried using women's incontinence pads. Ironically enough, she seemed to actually leak more with the disposable pad. I've gone back to the cloth inserts. Using three inserts has been stopping the leaks. I've also had success combining one insert and an old towel that I've cut to size. I fold the towel in thirds, but in a way that's thinner in the middle to help channel the urine to the middle (to the diaper and away from the leg holes). I then put an insert on top of the folded towel. I hope this info can help someone facing similar issues.My 8 year old shitzu havanease mix uses this at bedtime. Unfortunately we have woke up on to many occasions were our pup had diarrhea all over the bed. She has colitis so sometimes we have flare ups, so we use this just as extra protection for nights like this to save us from washing everything on the bed in the middle of the night. Haven’t had any accidents though for a while. Our poor baby doesn’t even know she’s doing it, she’ll be sound asleep. I can’t say anything about the absorbent quality because luckily we have been accident free for a while. The only issue is i ordered the right size but it still comes off sometime during the night. And boo does not take this off herself.Cannot really rate for comfort, but my dog does not seem to mind them. She does not try to chew them off.She has no tail so the version without a hole works great for her!My dog is elderly and suffering from kidney failure so she is at the opposite of potty training; however, these have been great to help her since she can no longer hold it all the time. It has saved our carpet!She has grown accustomed to them and now stands and waits for it to be put on. I use women's bladder control pads inside as an additional absorbent factor and that seems to work great.I have searched forever for doggie diapers that would fit my 100 lb Mastiff girl who has slight fecal/anal gland issues when she sleeps. These work perfectly! They are just right around her tail, and also fit her waist and hip area. I will order more. Thank you so much.I have a little mutt that may be something like a Maltese/Chi mix who came to me as a stray adult. I don't know who ATTEMPTED to housetrain her, but they didn't do a very good job. Panties keep reminding her that you don't do it in the house. Sometimes she forgets when I open the door in the morning tha she's wearing them, and does the outside dash, but will remember to come back to get them off when I call. Others I've tried required pantyliners. These do not and I'm so happy for that. If there's an accident, just treat them like cloth diapers.I ordered 2 sizes, I was not sure if my dog was a small or a medium. Customer service was outstanding helping me with sizing and return policies.The diapers are very well constructed and includes two areas with snaps for perfect size adjustment.They are exactly what I wanted for my 15 year old Shih Tzu. She, however, is a cranky old girl and absolutely refuses to allow me to put them on her. She twists and turns and tries to bite me. I’m going to try again but I may have to return this wonderful product.I like these because they are adjustable and fit securely. They are made of a good absorbent material. My senior beagle has speed in them with no accident. You could put a pad in though if you wanted. Threw in the washer and air dried. Great product!I found the hole for the tail is quite tight for my German Shepherd, but it does go on after a little tugging. Fortunately she is a placid dog and allows me to muck her about. The diaper works well once on, good fit. I used extra pads to be sureWell, our dog sitter definitely loved it! Worked well in the house to stop the drips!We bought medium and our dog is a small Hungarian VizslaWould recommendvery good but it takes to long to dry .Due to a medication issue, my dog has lost total bladder control. I thought that using this product would be the environmentally friendly thing to do. Unfortunately, I still have to supplement with disposables for overnight usage or if I am away from my dog for more than 2 hours. I can use the Washable Wonders and the added pads if I check my dog every hour. I have 4 diapers and a package of 10 pads. The diapers take a long time to air dry so I may have to buy 2 more to ensure that I always have dry ones in the rotation.We have a dog that was in Heat so bought two of the outside diapers along with a pkg if inserts. Awesome quality!! I washed and rinsed them by hand then hung up in shower. Cleaned up very nicely. A couple of times tried ladies mini pads too. Really helped to keep house clean.
