My female german shorthair pointer is freaking adorable in this collar. I am not partial to feminine-looking stuff, but this is just too cute. The male, her brother, was getting a more traditional American flag color collar so I wanted her's to look different, but still those colors. I found this and I tried not to buy it, but I had to get it. I put it on her and my husband would not stop saying how absolutely adorable she looks in it. I mean, any dog will look cute in it because the collar is just eye-catching and beautiful. Everyone who came over commented on how cute, unique and pretty her collar looks. Unfortunately, she's a 4-5 month old puppy who lives with her brother and together they are wild animals. They wrestle with each other non-stop. The beautiful bow was no match for their constant wrestling. I found it laying in the backyard and brought it in the house. I can reattach the bow to the collar - no problem. The bow has an elastic band that goes around the collar and one end of the band had broken away. The collar's clasp is a rose gold color, which is as beautiful as the rest of the collar. The collar and clasp is durable and will last a very long time. I have already washed the collar once. These puppies are very hard on everything. They've been swimming in the duck pond several times, swam in the pool and rolled around in dirt, mud and anything they can find. I feel bad uploading the picture because my puppy has been so hard on her collar. It's a little beaten up, but still perfectly functional and cute. The rose gold clasp and hardware is heavy duty, weight-wise. I'm going to go fix the bow and put this back on the puppy now.
