I am a fan of anything that is sealed, it gives me peace-of-mind, whether real or imagined, that the integrity of the product was not disturbed prior to my receiving this.Size of package?About (9½”) square.Weight?About (17) pounds, that’s heavy and it belies the thickness of these bags.What’s inside the package?The bags of course.How many rolls?Four (4) rolls.Dimensions of each roll?About (9”) wide and (4¼”) in diameter.How heavy is each roll?About (4¼) pounds.How many bags per roll?(25) bags.The weight of each bag?About (2¾) ounces per bag, on the scheme of things, that’s heavy.Why so heavy?Not only do the bags of fitting a (55) gallon can, but they are also thick bags.How thick are the bags?They are noted as being 1.3 mil thick. By comparison a grocery produce bag is about 0.25 mil thick; a typical kitchen trash bag is about ( ¾ ) of a mil and a typical contractor bag is (3) mil. Nevertheless, these are thick.Country of origin?Made in Vietnam.Anything else?The rolls of bags have no odor, and their texture does feel typical, smooth. There are no added fancy freshness scents as other “smaller” kitchen bags on the market have. But I knew this so no deduction. Also, these are going to be used in an outside back-up 45-gallon trash container for lightweight trash. These bags are also being used successfully and without any issue for recycling (works great). I also use these as dust covers for items that are being stored outside, like a bag of fertilizer. However, for longer term attic storage, these are not see through, so I have clear bags for that. The price is competitive with similar bags of competitors. Based on the totality of this reviewer’s thoughts, I have no complaints, and I received what I expected as to dimensions and thickness, if I wanted something heavier duty, than I would not have selected these. As an experiment, I took about 11 pounds of trash, and I lifted and shook this bag violently to see if it would hold. It did. The bag thickness makes a positive difference, it has great tensile strength. I am happy with this selection.Rating?There is no reason for me not to give these bags anything but five (5) stars.We hope you found this review and pics useful in deciding on this item.
