This was a little too deep and narrow for my tiny 4# puppy. He liked it a little more as he grew (now 5#), still not able to get the kibbles on the very bottom though.Lifting out the water bowl to wash and refill is ok, although getting it out of the silicon holder risks spillage. With the water bowl in place, you can't pick the whole thing up with one hand and it bends down the middle. Not a huge problem, but not quite as handy as I would like. It does keep the water bowl protected from getting knocked over.Before i had separate dishes for my dog. now i only need to use one and it works perfectly for my little morkieI like this dog bowl because it helps my dog to eat slower.This was the perfect size for my dogs crate but the TPU was not as strong as I hoped. Customer service was fantastic to work with and would recommend if your dog doesn't like to chew on their bowlJust check size of bowl to size of dog so only feed once a dayDoes slow down eatingThe grooves are not effective. My dog picks up the first 80-90% of the good just like before. Takes a bit of extra time for the last 10%The grooves need to be deeper and closer.
